We don't know, unless the person puts an comment in their album stating..How can I improve?, How can I make this picture of my son on the swing better? etc...
To some people, leaving a comment on how to make the picture better could be an insult to that member. As they have no intensions to get an honest feedback for the picture. They just want a place to put their pictures, which they choose photography talk.
But then there are some people who are looking for honest feedback, we don't give it, because we don't know and they get upset because no one comments.
It's a double edge sword.

Very little composition. I just simply pass those right on by. Can't critique those who don't want it. This has inspired me to edit my albums because not everything is goo and should be removed.
Thanks for that discussion Jan,"mj" and Crystal. The same has been bothering me a bit as I look through the albums. You can tell som eof them are snapshots of family and maybe not expect to get a rating or comment. However, there seem to be a lot of shots that juts don't seem to have ANY positive qualities. Rather than 1 rate them, I simply bypass them unless the poster asks for a critique.Nikonjan wrote:

That's great. We should post whatever we want.
You hockey shots are always amazing so it's great you look to other outlets. I have tried most areas (except studio work) and enjoy getting feedback.Rob pix4u2 wrote: I welcome any honest comments or critiques as that is the only way to get better. Especially my hockey albums can be boring to those who aren't sports fans so I put my other albums in for those into landscapes and nature to peruse.
