I've got lots of space right now too, but I know how fast I can fill it up. I just don't want to have to spend $200 for $100 worth of HDD if this thing drags out. Once I've seen the lower price I can't go back!
When I saw Scott Kelby's blog post I thought he might be a big enough name to get some response from Adobe.
Adobe can do whatever they want/need to do. This has just made me realize that I probably don't need to keep upgrading CS, and that I would be wasting money to keep doing so whatever they decide. I can do 99% of my processing in Lightroom, or GIMP, or some other software. By the time CS4 is too old to run for the few things I need it for those other programs will have incorporated the CS tools I use.
