When taking photos in the wintertime, it’s important to find elements that bring detail to the shot that might get lost in the frozen cold. In this image by Jens Klettenheimer, the “ice flowers” in the foreground certainly do the trick. The large, rounded boulders in the foreground are also an interesting textural element that makes this photo so successful.
