When photographing forest scenes, color photos are usually the way to go. However, as Kyle’s shot demonstrates, a foggy forest is an ideal subject for a black and white photo. The range of tones in this shot is incredible, and gives it an almost apocalyptic vibe. Note the detail on the trunks of the trees as well - good stuff!
