That's just a timer David - similar to the original Windows hourglass... I suspect the black timer is "sending to the host" and the green is "receiving from the host" or something like that.. in and of itself probably has nothing to do with the image upload issues but it could be an indicator of what it going on in the background... stopping and resuming would indicate a lot of traffic on the network or a poor connection with a lot of retries..photobod wrote: I have noticed something strange on my computer screen (no not my reflection), I click on reply to topic and go through the due process, but I have noticed that when I click submit, there is a box at the top of the screen and a symbol within that circles around with an arrow, if it goes anti clockwise and is coloured black, the photo times out, sometimes within a few seconds it reverses and goes clockwise and changes colour to green, then after a minute loads the photograph after about one minute, if it starts off clockwise in the colour green, then, if I take my hand of the mouse it freezes, when I touch the mouse off it goes again, sometimes I have to keep moving the mouse until it has uploaded the photo, does this happen to anyone else and could it be a common problem and hence the reason why some people cant get there photos on here. ???????.
I've wondered too if sometimes people are trying to upload a photo and they hit the "Back" button before the cycle is complete - would that cause a disconnect and the errors we're seeing? I haven't tried it myself to prove/disprove the theory though...

That is genius! When your back is better, and you're shooting weddings again, you'll have to remind yourself to focus on the bride and groom, and not so much on the flowers she's carrying! Very nice!photobod wrote:

Another soft rendition... Are these studio shot?
the ones with the background in black are a studio set up, 3 lights, the ones with the white background are simply the flower in a glass filled with soil to hold it up straight, placed on my kitchen windowsill which is flooded with light, and shot with no flash, the background is an opaque white blind.
Whoo thats clean... the photograph and the car!rosebud81592 wrote: 1955 Chevy
