How much to charge for a photo to be used on billboard?

I have company that wants for me to take a photo of their office and the photo is going to be used on a billboard.

Would you charge normal session time for this and would you charge anything extra seeing that the photo was being used on a billboard?

This is a licensing question. You absolutely charge for this, on top of taking the photo. Or however you manage pricing.

fotoquote ( www.cradocfotosoftware.com/ ) or try pricing usage out at Getty Images.

Any chance have you read the book "Pricing Photography"?  If not, you should pick it up.   In the book they suggest something like this, you should charge your normal session fee and then add $2,000 for a one year license fee.  And that is based on a small market.

So how would that annual license fee reflect being from a large market?
