How about an off camera flash and have the model holding it ? Just a thoughtFMVPhotography wrote:
Very nice, what lighting did you use?
Thanks Patty -
Well I took 2 Bowmans 500w lights, one with a snoot and the other a large softbox. After many test shots I didn't like the square reflection the softbox was casting and it was too bright even at the lowest power setting, also didn't have much space so I removed the soft box head and worked with the bare bulb of the modeling light plus 2nd modeling light with snoot on the grill. There was a lot of ambient light from the windows so used 1/60sec at f/2.8 with the 14-24mm. Really happy with the result, just thinking how to light a female model in a flattering way without loads of spill on the truck.... honeycomb perhaps?
Advice always welcome!!

pics or it didn't happen
To dark with no flash kitty was to fast. I was sitting on my rocker going through the menu of my camera when I noticed the cat getting up onto the counter, then I yelled at her to get down and tried to get a photo of her mid air. I either needed my flash or more lights on. Or different lens and more ISO. Next time.
Cool excuses bro!
Technically I'm a bro'ess.

I attempted to run out last minute to use the big stopper. Getting skies is really tricky, and I don't like my results that much, but oh well.

Terrible.
Didn't you take another picture from almost the same spot before, but facing more to the left? With the US flag and ducks in it?
