Buenas Dias Fellow Photographytalkers. What a wonderfully perfect day, a sunny 72F with blue skies and fluffy white clouds.  A very entertaining game last night, Clemson showed up ... Alabama didn't.  A ton of food last night, pizza, meat ball sandwiches, Greek Salad, marinaded mushrooms, salami's, Cheeses and vino.  The guests brought a ton of food and everybody left with doggy bags.

Buenos Tardes Fellow PhotographyTalkers. Yesterday Mary Lou and Gary saw Dear Evan Hansen at the Segerstrom in Orange County. Wonderful musical, a standing ovation for the entire cast, if you get a chance ... get tickets.

4 days of rain coming, I'll be getting some nice relaxing in!  What does everyone else have going on this weekend?

Tonight Mary Lou and Gary have tickets for 1776 at the La Mirada Theatre.  Sunday, Gary is planning a quick trip to Temecula for a wine pickup. Gary had planned a trip up the coast to San Simeon for the Elephant Seals ... but  the rain has messed that up.

Buenos Dias Fellow PhotographyTalkers.  It rained last night.  It was forecast as light, but the rain barrels were filled.  Mary Lou, Maggie and Gary were caught in a light rain during Maggie's morning walk. Mary Lou called a Netflix day, consequently we're staying home and having homemade soup with some homemade bread. Now it's coming down much harder and as Gary looks out the kitchen window a Hummingbird lands at the feeder.

We hit opening night for 1776, and it was a very pleasant evening. Guests came over for some vino before the musical. Then we all piled in and drove five minutes to the theatre.  Gary loves the La Mirada Theatre. Great shows, right down the street and Gary gets 50% off because he's a resident of La Mirada.

Time to start the bread.

My brother and his wife enjoy musicals.  I'll have to pass your recommendations about 1776 to them.  We head out this evening for a little night on town.  No musical, just dinner and movie and small party afterwards with friends.

Morning EOS_Fan-

Dinner, Movie and a Party ... sounds like a very very pleasant evening.  Of the musicals Gary has attended this season, 1776, Dear Evan Hansen, Get On Your Feet ... Dear Evan Hansen was the best, followed closely by 17761776 is fun and light, Evan Hansen was topical and simply touched your heart, Get On Your Feet while good, (the Gloria Esteban story), the music has you dancing in your seats, but for me not the same level of entertainment as 1776 or Dear Evan Hansen

Where is "up here"? Gary has lived in many parts of the world ... but has always returned back to California.  The southern coastal area is overpopulated but as Gary gets older, weather gets to be more important to his lifestyle and Gary loves the weather here.

@ EOS_Fan:  Mary Lou also took her granddaughter to Wicked last week at the Pantages in Hollywood.  (Gary saw Wicked a few years ago.) Wicked easily beats Evan Hansen for shear entertainment value.
