How to Add a "Second Card Slot" to Canon Mirrorless Cameras
If you've got a Canon EOS R or EOS RP or have read anything about them, you know that they have just one memory card slot.
This isn't just a Canon thing, either - the Nikon Z6 and Z7 also have just a single card slot.
However, as Jared Polin points out in the video below, there's a Canon camera hack that allows you to operate with a sort of second card slot.
As Jared demonstrates in the video, this "second card slot" is your phone or other device.
That's because with the Canon Connect App and a couple of other Canon goodies, you can wirelessly transfer full-resolution JPEGs from the EOS R and EOS RP to your device.
Cool, huh?
Sure, it isn't a true second card slot, but if you need to quickly transfer JPEGs, it's a super easy way to do it.
See the process in action in Jared's video above!
