Even though you may be new to digital photography, Canon knows you still want sharp images, which is why the A2400 IS is designed with optical image stabilization (IS) technology. This advanced function detects camera shake and/or picture blur and corrects it, so your pictures are filled with crisp details and deeply saturated colors. Intelligent IS is another technology that takes the guesswork from shooting stills or video. It automatically “reads” the scene and subject, and then makes the correction selection from six different IS modes to produce the best possible image.
