If you’re looking for new camera straps right now, then you’re in luck. One of our favorite camera strap creators, Holdfast, has been in their laboratory crafting new and exciting gear...
And, if you’re a Star Wars fan, then you’re in even more luck because they just released a Star Wars camera strap for all you Star Wars enthusiasts that want to show off your love of the iconic movie franchise at your next gig.
Before we show you their brand new Star Wars leather strap, we’re going to walk you through what’s so great about owning a Holdfast leather camera strap in the first place, and we’ll also link to a few other Star Wars camera straps Holdfast has created recently.
Benefits of the Holdfast Moneymaker
I’m a huge fan of owning quality camera straps because I think it makes my life as a photographer easier and it definitely means I spend less money on trips to the massage therapist and chiropractor.
I discovered Holdfast a few years ago and never looked back. Each Holdfast Moneymaker is made with American leather (or vegan leather, if you prefer), which means it will only look better as it ages.
The MoneyMaker also uses steel D-rings so that your hardware will never rust in moist climates.
Because Holdfast stands behind their products, they also provide a lifetime guarantee on all of their camera straps, so while the initial investment of a few hundred dollars may seem stiff, you have to think about the fact that you’re literally never going to need to make another purchase like this again.
Not only are these straps comfortable and made to last, but they are also incredibly well-made and easy on the eyes. If you ask me, investing in something that looks good and lasts forever isn’t a bad combination!
“Han” Solo Strap

The “Han” Solo Strap is a brand-new camera strap that Holdfast created just for Star Wars enthusiasts.
It’s a special MoneyMaker or MoneyMaker Solo, so it comes with the same quality leather build and steel hardware. This strap is made of both tan and black water buffalo leathers that have been specifically created to look weathered. After all, Han Solo has really been through it.

The tiny Han figurine is wearing the same outfit he wears in the Empire Strikes Back. He’s even wielding his gun.
To make this camera strap even more special, the shoulder straps are branded with a special, Star Wars-inspired logo.

Since each one of Holdfast’s camera straps are made to order, you need to provide a good 1-2 week buffer so that it can be built before it ships out.
You can pick up a “Han” Solo Strap for $200. Keep in mind that this camera strap is a limited edition, and most of Holdfast’s limited edition camera straps sell out in a matter of weeks.

More Camera Straps for Star Wars Lovers
Like I said, the creators of Holdfast are huge Star Wars fans, so they’ve created an entire lineup of Star Wars inspired camera straps, including a Yoda camera strap,
The Yoda camera strap, which is my favorite of the line, is made of bright green and tan leather and is a full MoneyMaker, so it can hold up to three cameras at once. This, paired with the fact that it’s an ultra rare edition, is probably why the Yoda strap costs $425.
The Storm Trooper camera strap is also fun for someone looking for something a little more unique. This strap is made out of bright white leather and black D-rings and is paired with two storm trooper figurines. Like the yoda camera strap, this camera strap can accommodate up to three cameras at one time, which makes it a phenomenal option for event photographers.
You can pick up the Storm Trooper camera strap for $400.
The last of the line, the Death Trooper, may be the most appropriate option for event photographers who need to blend in with the crowd. It is made of all black leather and D-rings, and is paired with an all-black Death Trooper.
Like the Yoda camera strap and the Storm Trooper camera strap, this camera strap also holds up to three cameras at a time.
Only 50 Death Trooper camera straps are being created, so these will probably go faster than any of the other camera straps in this line. They are available for $350.
It’s definitely worth it to mention that if you really want to pick up one of these Star Wars camera straps before they sell out, but you don’t think you can manage a $200-$400 payment right now, Holdfast does offer a program where you can split your payment up until 4 different payments without any interest.
