This gorgeous landscape image is a perfect example of how to take a long exposure of water. The smooth, glassy surface of the water perfectly reflects the fading light as the sun sets, and provides a nice contrast with the craggy rocks that penetrate the water’s surface. Job well done Oliver!
Snowy Owl in Flight-Marie Read
This incredible image of a giant snow old in mid-air was shared by Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival. Marie Read, the photographer that captured the image, shows off the skill required to freeze the movement of a bird in flight while framing the image just right.
Trees in the Mist by Thomas Thompson
A simple scene of trees in a park on a foggy day is transformed into a moody masterpiece in this gorgeous black and white photo. The tonal range in the image gives it an abundance of depth while the sharpness of the foreground objects counteracts the blurriness caused by the fog in the background. It looks like something straight out of an Edgar Allan Poe story!
