So, is photography your most expensive hobby?

I was just on phone with my rep with Adorama and we started talking about prices and then hobbies. He stated that photography was considered one of the most expensive hobbies. I believe it, but was wondering if anyone has another hobby that trumps photography cost wise?

Photography is dirt cheap compared to boating, flying, and some of the horsey games.

I am an Amateur Radio Operator (N2DVD) and the price of radio equipment is very high (New Gear).
You can find used comparable radio equipment that would be the cost of Canon 5DMKII (Body Only). Then again, you can build your own radio and receivers!

It is by far my cheapest hobby! But then I don't have an expensive camera or a lot of lighting. I am so grateful for digital.
