What is the newest piece of Photography equipment you have bought?

Just bought a new tripod!
Manfrotto 055CXPRO3 with a 498RC4 ball head.
Absolutely brilliant. My wife thinks I love it more than her.
It's light, compact yet strong and solid. 2 bubble levels for accurate pan shots, infinite adjustments, moves, feels and operates like a Porsche GT3. A real quality buid. I can put it over my shoulder and go anywhere. I love it.

:woohoo: That sounds like a great tripod - at least you seem to be happy with it!

I just got in a 32GB memory card. I intend to keep it more or less for laptop backup while traveling. When not traveling I might just have to go see if I can fill it up just to confirm it is reliable. Not as exciting as a tripod but certainly better than a bill or Visa statement.

Thanks! Yes, I do love it. Even I can tell that the photos are better with it than with the zoom lens. - And then of course it's the macro thingie. Lot's of bugs comming into my camera this summer (if the weather please, pretty please, gets better).

Just purchased a new 16GB card from eBay as my old one broke yesterday putting it in the camera. I use it mainly for video but, also bought a couple more 8GBs as well that I use all the time.

Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.
