Just got my tripod legs in. I can't believe how light they are. The tripod is fully extended around 7 feet and i can pick it up easily with one hand.

Pictures inbound later tonite when I get home.

When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk

I was just looking for an inexpensive macro ring light but it is hard to find one for a 72mm lens. I have the Sigma 150 macro. I have a cheaper 50mm macro but don't use it that much.

Yesterday I received my BW 10 stop screw on nd filter and 2 -16 gig compact flash cards. Plan to try the nd filter next week on the coast.

A Sony Nex-3 APS-C compact should be arriving today! I decided to spend my KEH gift cert on something fun. I've been wanting an APS-C compact for a long time, but they've just been too expensive to spend my own money on. For my DSLRs I ordered a replacement lens hood, and one of the fancier EOS remote cables. The one with the timer, etc... built in.
