Profiles are listing city/town but not State. State/Province might be helpful in locating folks nearby.

Also, browsing through galleries, a smattering of blank spots.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

My reply page to post to threads is formatting smaller now than it was a few days ago but still is larger than the area available to post. If I move the cursor to the right to scroll the ads in the right column shift, even if I'm not logged in it does that.

I also had old messages show up that I deleted some time ago. I mentioned in the other thread that my settings defaulted back to receiving email notifications for everything.

I'm speaking with one of my programmers going through all the items here... and your post we need some more clarification on please. Any chance for a screen shot and please indicate what browser you are using? Thank you!

Keep them coming everyone! - Alex

All my photo ratings seem have gone. The comments made by other members are thankfully there. Also details of the number of photos, activities and points scored have disappeared

This is not a bug but could you create a button or something wherein a person who starts a thread in the forum can close that thread when required.

What happened to points? I see points credited when posting, but there's no points/activities listed on my page.

The quality of the thumbs and enlarged images in the galleries is certainly much better. But, how are they navigable? Only by looking at every single image on every page? How can one find one's own photos? Are they listed in the order of posting? Some info, please.

In your profile you will find a TAB called Photos. In there you can find all your albums.

Not what I was referring to. I was talking about the Galleries that live under the "Galleries" tab, those that contain hundreds of pages crammed with our posted images in no discernible order, with no choice for viewing other than leafing through page by page, image by image. The refurbish may not be finished, but can you address the issue? Will one be able identify a particular photographer, and find his images, without searching manually every page? Can filters be introduced to make efficient searching possible? I doubt that, as the banner says, "millions of people" will see our posts, if they aren't made more accessible.
I have in the past directed interested people to come to the site to get an idea of my work, but, if they came to my page now, they would be greeted by advertising obtrusively placed on my profile page, and very little of my work in evidence. I realize it is advertising that pays the bills, but I would hope for more balance, to make it attractive and useful for the members.
Sorry for the tirade, but I have been an enthusiastic supporter of the site, and I want it to continue, and continue being useful and attractive to members.

Would it be a good idea to sticky this thread, and lock it at the top?

Whoever wrote the message on the log-in page doesn't have good command of English: "You do not have THE permission?" How about: ""please, log-in"...just a suggestion.

Well I'm not sure how to describe what's going on with mine (and don't know how to do a screen shot...). Earlier when I posted the whole page fritzed out and I mostly got red X's where parts of the page didn't load, then I couldn't get on anything other than the main page. It just seems like it isn't loading properly, I use Internet Explorer.

I've seen other users' pages that show up as a partial photo covered with an ad like John L. mentioned, and it shows the photo was taken 42 years ago. (I'm not making this up!)
